Heglennco Sports will be happy to invite professional athletes who are ranked among the best in the world, we can also offer special discounts, according to the world ranking of the athlete interested in participating in the event.

For athletes outside this ranking the registration fee will be the same as in the categories by age.

There will be a modification on the PRO purse for 2021 that will be an amount of $ 120,000 MXP $ 60,000 MXP per branch plus bonuses for $ 12,000 MXP for the Professional Men and Women Race groups. Heglennco Sports México will recover it´s 2019 pro purse amount for 2022.

The San Gil 2022 International Triathlon will offer the following bonuses:

$ 2,000 MXP for the best time per branch and per stage for a total of $ 12,000 MXP of additional prizes.

$ 2,000 MXP best swim time, $ 2,000 MXP best bike time & $ 2,000 MXP best run time for male and female elite division.

Athletes interested in participating in the Professional branch of the San Gil International Triathlon must register at the following email: elite@triatlon-sangil.com or send your pro status with the form published in the following link: www.en.triatlon-sangil.com/register-pro-elite/

 

The following policies will be applied to compete in the Elite / Professional category.

Heglennco Sports will grant permission to participate in the professional category to elite athletes, according to the following policies:

• Athletes must send a copy of their elite athlete’s license from their respective National Triathlon Federation.

• Athletes whose country does not issue a professional license must present a letter from their representative body, confirming their status as an elite athlete.

• If an athlete does not have this information, Heglennco Sports may consider the results of the athlete, in relation to the places obtained in the two years prior to the request.

• Please send the documents to the mail of professionals athletes for the race, to the following email: elite@triatlon-sangil.com

VERY IMPORTANT:

• In order to open the Men’s and Women’s Professional race categories in the San Gil International Triathlon event, it is required that at least 5 elite athletes must be registered 30 days prior to the event. If any category gender has fewer athletes by that date, the elite race category will be canceled.
